My results show that I posses a mild kinaesthetic learning preference.

 

I acknowledge that this learning style is accurate to me, as I have always had a preference for practical based subjects including the laboratory practical’s in functional anatomy.

 

My results also indicated that I have a mild read/write learning style I feel as if I was aware of this as my revision tends to be based upon mind maps, this method of revision was very successful during my semester A exams, therefore, I shall use it again but also incorporate more kinaesthetic aspects to aid my proven learning style. I will do this by adding photos and diagrams into my mind maps as well as carrying out practice questions where applicable.

 

The aspect of my VARK result that I was surprised with included my visual aspect score, which was lower than I anticipated. I didn’t think this would be the case, although I expected the low score for my aural aspect as I find I struggle to retain information from lectures themselves.

 

To conclude, now that I have the results from these tests I will be able to adapt my revision and work to my favourable learning styles to in turn be more efficient with my revision and this consequently should benefit my work at university. However, it is important to consider that the questions asked were very limited and therefore my results may be different if I were to carry out another test.
